Vision for Community Engagement

"Without revelation, people run wild” (Proverbs 29:18)

Pray today that our Lord grants the pastors of our association a clear visions to lead their congregations to engage their communities. Pray the Lord helps all of us understand the needs and opportunities for spreading His love.

Unity and Collaboration

“How delightfully good when brothers live together in harmony!’’ (Psalm 133:1)

Pray today that the Lord would encourage the pastors of our association to foster unity within their region, encouraging collaboration and partnership with other associational churches for more significant kingdom impact.

Boldness and Courage

“Haven’t I commanded you: to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9)

Pray today that the Lord would grant the members of our churches the boldness and courage to step outside their comfort zones, fearlessly engaging communities with His transformative message.

Listening to the Community

“My dear brothers and sisters, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger” (James 1:19)

Pray today that the Lord grants pastors the patience to listen attentively and understand their communities’ unique challenges and joys.

Compassion and Empathy

“Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience” (Colpssians 3:12)

Pray today that our church members and the pastors of our association be filled with compassion and empathy, mirroring Jesus’ love in their interactions with the community.

Building Bridges

“To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22).

Pray today that the Lord would help our churches build bridges, seizing every opportunity to connect with diverse members of their neighborhoods, effectively sharing His messages of love, hope and salvation.

Servant Leadership

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).

Pray today that the Lord would instill in our pastors a heart servant leadership, guiding them to serve and meet the needs of their communities humbly. Pray they would lead their people to serve beyond the walls of the church.

Sustaining the Mission

“Let us not get tired of doing good, work, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up” (Galatians 6:9).

Pray today, asking the Lord to sustain every church in its mission to engage the greater community in news ways. Ask Him to provide endurance and joy as they witness the fruits of their efforts.
